Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Not Supported Flash Player

November last year, Adobe had informed will stop the development of Flash Player for Android. And now it goes, Adobe announced that Flash Player will not be supported in Android 4.1, because it has not continued to develop and test the Flash Player to the latest version of Android. A case in point the latest Nexus 7 tablets, which are shipped without the support of Flash.

Not only that, Adobe also announced it would pull the Flash Player from Google Play Store from 15 August. That means you will not be able to download more applications from Google Play Flash Player (Android Market) after that date. For devices already installed will continue to receive updates mentioned, but minor.

Well, because Flash Player is not supported in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Adobe urges users to uninstall it prior to its Android devices updated to Android 4.1, as it will not work properly. And, Flash Player is not going to get the update for Android under 4.1.

Seeing this fact, it looks like Flash on the Android era will end. What was once touted as a major selling point for Android devices, apparently now being murdered by the author himself. It seems that Google was recorded already started to abandon the old technology, as seen in his not support Flash in Chrome browser to Android, even though in Android 4.0.

The hope now, web developers will adopt a more modern technologies, like HTML5 to create web content.
