Flash directly into the system via fastboot (Tutorial enter Fastboot/Recovery Here), for the first time you will be prompted to update binary file, please update the "normal way" after reboot you can normally use.

Download Flashtool :

How to Flash:

1. Download Flashtool and Extract it
2. Download System.img and extract to Flashtool Folder, rename to system.img
3. Connect Zenfone 2 with PC/Laptop (Enable usb debugging and Make sure you have install intel usb driver, you can download here)
4. At Flashtool/fastboot folder press shift+Right Click then Open Command Here
5. Enter this command: fastboot flash system system.img
6. Wait around 10 minutes
7. After Complete Reboot.. and your Zenfone 2 is Rooted.
8. Do Not update SUperSU binary, or your zenfone will bootloop.
